Victoria Park

This is one of the most beautiful parks around. I stand by that. This is one of the waterfalls.

Friday

My collection is coming along swimmingly non?

Beam me up Scotty

Nathan Murray looks like he belongs to Star Trek when he wears this shirt... hilarious.

Insect Collection

I started pinning insects for entomology on Tuesday, and got a few decent ones pinned. It's going to be an awesome collection.

T - Back to B&W

This is one of my friend Kaleigh, we were up way too late running around residence just having fun. She's the best neighbour ever I would have to say.

Little Break from B&W

I seriously couldn't post this one in B&W. This was a ridiculous sunset we had on Monday, it was also experienced in Fredricton and Canning. I wonder what makes a given sunset so wild? This is some sort of wild flower in the foreground.

Black and White Begins - I love aphid eaters

I thought I would try to do a week in black and white. This one is of a lady bug larvae, I found it out behind residence when I was bug hunting. Isn't it beautiful?

Different kind of skyline

Last Friday, I found a beautiful piece of bark with some lichens on it while walking on the train tracks. I picked them up and I'm trying to keep them alive with a bit of detritus, water, and sunlight. This was just me messing around with it last night to change up the skyline a bit.

Mark Canfield ladies and gents

My friend Mark likes to pose like he's tough.
But he's not. Not even a little.

Thursday - Little Bird

I've been noticing little bird tracks all over the place, but these ones outside the International House were by far the cutest that I have seen so far.

Wednesday - Broken Glass

One of the doors in our residence was broken accidentally by a student here. It sat for a few days before it was replaced, but I thought it looked quite beautiful.

Goodnight Sun

This is again a beautiful sunset behind my residence, I really have never had such a perfect place to watch the sun set.

Monday, Cloud Mountains

There have some beautiful clouds that look almost like mountains this month. Here are some I captured on Monday, behind the Wood Lot.

O-Week is finito

It's been an awesome week, but very tiring. It will be nice to have things back to 'normal' again. This photo is of several international students from Fujiian Agriculture and Forestry University who are spending two years in Canada. They are on their way to the closing banquet.

Shinerama

This is a picture of some Shiners shining away to fight the battle against Cystic Fibrosis. It was a super day, and we raised over $1300. We've got a ways to go yet, but we're well on our way.

Friday - Sunset

Again, another beautiful one from my room. It's so great to get nice sunsets again, it was so blocked by the trees in Ethiopia, and in Medford, but I get a lovely view here.

Thursday - My Beach

It's a bit of a drive to get to a beach, but I do have my rock collection here. They're from all over the place, and it's such a great way to remember some specific days and times had with wonderful people. I wish I knew more about them.

In flight - Wednesday

I popped my screen out to try to get a decent photo of a sunset, but my best one was of a pigeon flying up to the roof.

Sunsets

One of the main reasons I picked the room I had now was the natural light, it's so much better on the West side of the building. Plus I get a kick ass view of the train tracks and esplanade. This is the natural light coming through onto my wall in the evening.

Mud Games

Photo Credit goes to Amy Versloot, because it shows everyone and my hands were too muddy to take it. This was a wicked day.

O-WEEK BEGINS

On Sunday, O-week began. It was a great start, pictured here is my lovely friend and co-worker on SU Robyn McCallum. I probably took more appropriate "O-Week" photos, but I thought this one was just beautiful.

Saturday; HURRICANE EARL

Talk about Messy...
Not really. A lot of rain and high winds, we lost power for about five hours but it was a great day. We met with an MP (Justin Trudeau) and were trained as Orientation Leaders. This is a shot of Chapman House during Early in a brief 'no rain' period.

Friday

Second day of the retreat, we had a challenge. Our team (purple) overcame all odds and took home the final prize. Pictured is another team competing in a 'human sculpture' sort of team building exercise. Quite fun.

Leadership Retreat

I went with a bunch of student leaders to Stonehame for a two day retreat, it was really fun. This is a photo of the first day of a pair of GIANT horses out in one of the fields, next to my friends Nicole and Jeff.

Back to school

On Wednesday I arrived back to school, here are a few people I missed who helped me unpack. It's so great to be back again.

I + P Beach Day

On Thursday, E and I took a trip to Blue Beach / Fossil museum. Still nothing overly exciting found, but don't ever plan on giving up either.

Sparky chewing a bone

This is my beautiful dog chewing a bone she found somewhere on the beach, near the ocean.
